Carolina Games Summit Offers $72,000 in College Scholarships at ECGC 2019

East Coast Game Conference is pleased to announce that this year’s show will be host to an exciting esports competition featuring some of the industry’s biggest multiplayer titles and $72,000 USD in scholarship prizes!

Taking place at the Raleigh Convention Center from April 16th to 18th, ECGC 2019 celebrates its eleventh year as the largest gathering of videogame professionals on the east coast. Additionally, in partnership with Barton College and the Carolina Games Summit, high school seniors and young adults are invited to ECGC to participate in various esports tournaments for a chance at winning scholarships and also explore career opportunities in the video game industry.  

In addition to ECGC 2019’s featured keynote by Atari veteran Warren Robinett, attendees can learn from leading experts and innovators who will give talks and panels throughout the show’s duration on various topics related to emerging areas of the game industry.
