Nexon’s latest free to play MMORPG went into ‘early access’ open beta last week. Vindictus has been one of the most anticipated F2P games of the year, there are already thousands of players flooding the servers for a chance seek adventure aboard Celtic longboats. Vindictus is known as Mabinogi Heroes in Korea and is based in the same world as the original Mabinogi, but besides sharing a game world the two are very different. Powered by Valve’s Steam engine, Vindictus offers great graphics and real time combat. This cinematic player shows a group of warriors fighting a giant spider, not unlike the one that players fight during the prologue to the game. Divine Souls is perhaps the game most comparable to Vindictus, but both play differently.
