SilkRoad Online Launches Anti-Bot Campaign

Looks like Joymax finally updated their flagship MMORPG SilkRoad Online by implementing a new Anti-bot system. Even though this particular update didn’t introduce any new content to the game, it’ll certainly enhance Silkroad’s gameplay by keeping some Bots off the crowded servers. I say ‘some bots’, because odds are even though this patch looks promising, there’s no way to eliminate botting all together. Joymax does expect this new update to take off a huge load from their servers, so hopefully more people will be able to log in during peak hours after this patch, as one of the biggest issues with SilkRoad Online is that it’s nearly impossible to log into any of the game’s 30+ servers due to player volume. Keeping bots off the servers should open up some space for legitimate players.

Through a brand new internet robot (aka “bot”) detecting system, Joymax will identify and restrict all Silkroad Online accounts associated with illegal automatic hunting programs.
