Robot Cache Announces Second Wave of Publishers for Digital PC Distribution Platform

Robot Cache is the first decentralized PC video game distribution platform, with a revolutionary digital resale model to benefit publishers, developers, and gamers. Today, Robot Cache announced the next wave of publishers that agreed to bring their games to the platform: 1C Publishing, Bigben Interactive, Ci Games S.A., DANKIE, Devolver Digital Inc., Headup, Hyperkinetic Studios, IMGN.PRO, Libredia, Playdius Games/Plug In Digital, Revival Productions, and Running with Scissors. These publishers join 505 Games, Anuman Interactive SA, Entrada Interactive, Forthright Entertainment, inXile Entertainment, Maximum Games, Microids, Modus Games, Paradox Interactive, THQ Nordic, and Versus Evil on the Robot Cache platform. Robot Cache, to help streamline this process, announced the launch of their Portal Partner (below), which is an easy-to-use online registration tool for developers and publishers to register their company, upload game, provide marketing assets and manage sales through their analytics tools.

Robot Cache utilizes blockchain technology to reduce the fees publishers and developers pay by up to 80%, and allow gamers to resell their digital PC video games.  Developers and publishers benefit from the lowest transaction fees of any digital PC video game distribution platform. Everyone, from the smallest indie team to the biggest publishers, will retain up to 95% of the sales proceeds. Gamers greatly benefit from Robot Cache’s unique distribution approach. Previously, gamers could only resell physical retail copies of a video game, but now they can resell digital games purchased on the Robot Cache platform and retain 25% of the proceeds from the resale. In addition, gamers can opt-in within the Robot Cache client to mine and are rewarded in IRON, which they can then use to buy games and other content on the platform.
