Shiny Shoe is preparing to launch a technical test for its upcoming co-op tactical RPG, Inkbound, and you’re invited to access the test before anyone else!
Inkbound is a co-op roguelike RPG that brings the best aspects of Shiny Shoe’s award-winning title Monster Train, to a world where stories come to life. Combining cooperative action, roguelike mechanics and a living MMO style setting, players can work together to explore the magical Atheneum and the infinite worlds contained within, with each run providing a different experience and an exciting new challenge. Players can embark on their own solo adventures, but banding together is the safest way to explore this world, tackle its enemies and unlock its countless rewards. So prepare for an adventure unlike any other as the greatest stories of Inkbound are yet to be written.
When you claim a code, you will receive three Steam game codes – one for you, and two for your friends!
These codes provide direct access to the technical test; you don’t need to worry about passwords or beta branches.
The test build expires at 10 a.m. PST on January 23, but you are free to play as much as you’d like until then.

To Redeem Your Key:
- Obtain a beta key below.
- In the Steam app, from the “Games” menu pick “Activate a Product on Steam…”
- Follow the steps and enter your key when prompted. Inkbound will be added to your library on Steam.
- Install and play the game during the test period, available from January 19 at 6 a.m. PST until January 23 at 10 a.m. PST.
