Hero: 108 Online shutting down for a makeover
Gamania Digital Entertainment (Beanfun) has announced that they will be shutting down the current version of Hero: 108 Online on April 18, and will be wiping all characters and data.
The shut down is in preparation for an upcoming redesign of the game, based on player feedback during the game’s beta. No exact date has been given for the game’s relaunch, other than a suggestion that players will see it within “months.”
Gamania also publishes Lucent Heart, which is currently in closed beta.

Hero: 108 Online will be receiving an entirely NEW and EXCITING make-over in the months ahead! We’ve heard some great feedback already and would like everyone to share with us their thoughts and experiences with the game. All of the feedback we receive will be taken into great consideration as we strive to make Hero: 108 Online bigger and better than ever for our players! Feel free to give feedback in this thread~
Unfortunately, this does mean that the servers for the current version will be coming down on April 18, 2011 as we prepare for the brand new Hero: 108 Online, and all characters and data will be wiped. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has played so far and look forward to seeing you in-game when Hero: 108 Online returns (it’ll be worth the wait)!! In the meantime, keep up-to-date on our forums where we will post news and updates regarding the changes we’re making to the game, as well as any release information.
For those who have Hero: 108 codes from Playmates Toys (whether you’ve redeemed them or not), rest assured that these codes will be redeemable in the NEW Hero: 108 Online game, so be sure to hang onto them! (If you have already redeemed a code and no longer have it, we will be working on a solution and will release details at a later time.)
Again, a HUGE thank you to all of our fans and we look forward to seeing you for the re-release of Hero: 108 Online in the near future!!
In the meantime, you’re welcome to join us for Lucent Heart Closed Beta when the time arrives! Stay updated in the Lucent Heart Discussion sections.
