Digimon Battle Open Beta Registration Announced
Today WeMade Entertainment announced its intentions to start open beta registration for their latest MMORPG, Digimon Battle. The client is ready to install but gamers won’t be able to log in until the open beta officially kicks off on March 17th. WeMade is the studio behind the classic Asian smash hits Mir 2 and The Legend of Mir 3. More recently, they’ve published Avalon Heroes which is a fantasy themed MMO. Their latest title will be based on the famous Digimon series and will include real-time battles and an interactive world to explore.
Players take on the role of Digimon Tamers who must protect the world from evil Digimon by partnering with good Digimon. Not very complicated, but then again Digimon was made for children. You can read more about the game below in the full release.
A new video trailer has been released along with this announcement. It can be viewed at our official Digimon Battle page or in the video section.

WeMade Entertainment today announced plans to launch the first-ever online Digimon game, Digimon Battle. The massively multiplayer online game will bring the original animated TV Series, Seasons 1 – 4 (“Digimon Adventure,” “Digimon Adventure 02,” “Digimon Tamers,” and “Digimon Frontier”) to life online with real-time battles and an interactive world to explore. Players will take on the role of special Digimon Tamers, helping to protect the earth from evil Digimon by partnering with good Digimon and exploring the Digital World together. Fans can pre-register for the open beta today, and download the Digimon Battle client and the Frontier’s Starter Kit starting March 10 from the official website: www.digimonbattle.com.
“The Digimon community has been waiting patiently for an online, interactive DigiWorld, and we feel privileged to be developing this experience for audiences,” said Kevin Seo, CEO of WeMade Entertainment. “In the open beta, players will be able to take on the role of hero or heroine in the game and embark on adventures with Digimon friends.”
In Digimon Battle, players select a Tamer character, Takato Matsuki, Henry Wong, Rika Nonaka, or Jeri Katou, and set off with their Digimon and human friends, helping their Digimon to progress in their Digivolution.
