Aliens Invade MapleStory

A giant hovering Mother Shop has arrived to the world of MapleStory. The latest patch for Nexon’s flagship free to play MMORPG is called ‘The Visitors’ and includes aliens! In this four part event, players will have to travel through time and find the scientists that the aliens abducted. New quests and zones will be added giving players another area to level up in.

During certain tasks, players will be able to mount mechs and work together as a party to defeat the alien invasion. Nexon has provided a short video showing off some of the gameplay that awaits players in the new patch:

MapleStory’s most recent update has brought invaders to the Maple World. “The Visitors” update is now live and running, adding gigantic hovering Mother Ships and aliens to the game. All over the map, scientists are being beamed up into the sky and abducted, causing a bit of a stir amongst the Maplers.

In this four part event, heroic players curious to find out more about the alien visitors can travel through time and solve the mystery of the missing scientists. Players will be able to participate in a few quests to help Dr. Bing build his time machine and find out more about the alien invaders in this first part.

Special rewards await the brave Maplers who venture past their safety zones and complete the tasks set out by Dr. Bing. Players can suit up in different combat gear and gain access to the next stages of “The Visitors” update.
