MMOHuts Weekly Recap #134 – Monster Hunter Online!?!?!

A quick look and discussion for every major announcement and update during the week! This week we discussed updates from the following games: Monster Hunter Online, Lineage II, Lord of the Rings Online, Continent of the Ninth Seal, World of Tanks, Soldier Front 2, Ghost Recon Online, Microvolts, Ragnarok Online 2, & Neverwinter.

Tencent games partnered up with the gaming industry veterans at Capcom to create Monster Hunter Online with alpha testing available in June. NC Soft launched the latest content update for Lineage II called Lindvior, Goddess of Destruction. The Lord of the Rings Online gets its next expansion, Helm’s Deep, set to release sometime in the fall. Webzen launched the first raid for the Extreme Dungeon in Continent of the Ninth Seal pitting players up against 3 raid bosses and a super boss all at once. Wargaming launched update 8.5 for World of Tanks expanding the tank rosters for both Germany and the USSR. Aeria Games gives us a bit more information about Soldier Front 2 by revealing the games’ official website. Ghost Recon Online launches an update containing quite a bit new content based around weapons and the new Attica Heights map. Microvolts releases a spring themed update with water weapons and armor along with a new Junk Yard map. WarpPortal announced the release date for Ragnarok Online 2 as May 1st. Neverwinter officially goes into Open Beta!
