Heroes of Three Kingdoms open beta begins July 27th
Heroes of Three Kingdoms, Perfect World Entertainment’s newest MMORPG based on the Three Kingdoms era of China, will enter open beta on July 27th.
Heroes of Three Kingdoms lets players choose between 18 weapon styles, each with their own unique skills, and choose to ally with one of three major kingdoms in warfare. Crafting, title, mount, reputation, and other systems lets players immerse themselves in the era.

A Culture-Defining Movement in China’s History Now Available Online

(NASDAQ: PWRD), today unveiled that the Open Beta launch of its free-to-play MMORPG, Heroes of Three Kingdoms, is slated for Tuesday, July 27th. Based on one of the most turbulent era in history, including the famous Battle of Red Cliff, Heroes of Three Kingdoms delivers a high-quality multiplayer experience via various in-game offerings and enables gamers to reshape pivotal moments in Chinese history. Set during the famous Three Kingdoms period in China, Heroes of Three Kingdoms incorporates various character options, a title system, historical instances and robust community features into its fast-paced gameplay. Its Kingdom War system allows players to choose one of Three Kingdoms (Wei, Shu or Wu) and enables players to create guilds, and wage war against one another for territorial gain. The Player versus Player (PvP) system and Battleground features present challenges to users as they hone their polished combat abilities against others to vie for power.
With the Open Beta launch, players will have even more ways to customize the game and further distinguish their look on the battlefield. Heroes of Three Kingdoms’ various weaponry options allow players to choose from 18 weapons, and are able to wielding both a primary and secondary weapon, which will help shape and define in-game characters and skill sets. In addition, Heroes of Three Kingdoms’ extensive crafting system enables users to obtain key technological advancements to help aid them on the battlefield such as stronger bows, equipment, and armor.
In addition, Heroes of Three Kingdoms’ title system offers hundreds of different titles and occupations for players to acquire-each title coming with different benefits. Players can rapidly move up the ranks within the community and gain access to superior equipment, and stronger skill sets via the game’s reputation system.
