Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.5 Timeline Sets Dates for Beastmaster, UMAD, and Dawntrail’s Finale

Square Enix has put dates on the rest of Final Fantasy XIV’s Patch 7.5 series, giving players a clearer runway for the end of Dawntrail and the lead-in to the next expansion, Evercold, which is planned for January.

Patch 7.50 is already live as of April 28, but the bigger remaining beats now have firm dates: Patch 7.51 arrives June 2, Patch 7.55 follows on July 28, and Patch 7.56 is set for September 8, 2026.

  • Patch 7.51 on June 2 adds Dancing Mad (Ultimate), the high-end raid players have nicknamed “UMAD.” The update also brings the final planet for Cosmic Exploration, more Cosmic Tools progression, and Aunt Tii’s Tacos as a Custom Delivery client.
  • Patch 7.55 on July 28 wraps up Dawntrail’s Hildibrand questline, titled Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures. It also brings the final Occult Crescent content and the last stage of Dawntrail’s Phantom Weapon relic upgrades.
  • Patch 7.56 on September 8, 2026 closes out Dawntrail’s Main Scenario Quests and adds Beastmaster, the expansion’s limited job.

Beastmaster is likely the biggest draw for players who’ve been waiting on side content with a longer tail. Square Enix has previously shown the job capturing beasts and using them in combat, with solo-focused progression and rankings attached.

Patch 7.50 kicked off this final stretch with new Main Scenario content, a dungeon, a trial, the last chapter of the Final Fantasy XI-themed alliance raid, Shinryu as the current Unreal Trial, an Ocean Fishing update, and increased housing item capacity. The remaining updates now fill out the schedule between Dawntrail’s closing chapters and Evercold’s launch window.
