Zul’Aman Opens in Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary Edition on October 22
Zul’Aman is coming to World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary Edition realms on October 22 at 3:00 p.m. PDT, or 23:00 BST. The 10-player raid is set in the Ghostlands and is aimed at level 70 players, with no attunement required.
The raid brings back the Amani troll stronghold and its six-boss lineup: Nalorakk, Akil’zon, Jan’alai, Halazzi, Hex Lord Malacrass, and Zul’jin. It will use a 3-day reset lockout.
Zul’Aman also includes its timed hostage rescue event. Once a group opens the gates, the Amani begin preparing executions. Defeating lieutenants and saving hostages adds loot and extends the timer, while rescuing every hostage before time runs out awards the rare Amani War Bear mount.
Blizzard is also rolling out several broader Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary Edition changes alongside the raid:
- Doomlord Kazzak and Doomwalker loot will become Bind on Equip instead of Bind on Pickup.
- Battle for Mount Hyjal and Black Temple will no longer require attunement.
- Heroic dungeon key reputation requirements are being lowered to Honored.
- All Heroic dungeons are being adjusted to their final reduced difficulty state.
- Badges of Justice will drop from more raid bosses, including Karazhan, Gruul’s Lair, Magtheridon’s Lair, Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, Zul’Aman, Doomlord Kazzak, and Doomwalker.
- G’eras in Shattrath will sell additional Badge of Justice items, including Nether Vortex.
Other economy and crafting updates are on the way too. New Magtheridon’s Black Sack of Gems and Jewelcrafter’s Brilliant Glass drops can contain epic gems, though existing unopened versions will not. Outland faction vendors will also sell Leatherworking recipes for Greater Drums, Knothide Quiver, and Knothide Ammo Pouch, while Primal Nether and Nether Vortex will no longer be soulbound.
