Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 Adds New Story Quests, Qingxiao, and More
Wuthering Waves Version 3.6, “Lamplight in Mirage, Sword’s Resolve in Heart,” is live now across supported platforms. The update adds new main story content, the debut of Qingxiao, the return of Denia, new weapons, events, Echo content, and a batch of quality-of-life changes.
The update is being split into two phases. Phase I is available now with Qingxiao and Denia, while Jingran is scheduled to arrive with Phase II on September 10.
- Chapter IV Act III, “Song of the Heart Sword,” and Chapter IV Segue, “The Nethermancer’s Requiem,” continue the main story.
- Qingxiao is available in Phase I, alongside the returning Denia. Jingran joins in Phase II.
- New weapons include Glint of Clouds in Phase I and Thousandfold Deliverance in Phase II.
- New accessories include Qingxiao’s Cloudbloom and Jingran’s Snowpaw.
- Calamity Effigy has been added as a new Echo, with Phantom: Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis also joining the lineup.
- A new Tactical Hologram challenge features Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis.
Version 3.6 also brings several limited-time events, including Resonance Sim Realm, If Dreams Still Reverberate, Second Coming of Solaris: Coded Deception, The Strings Remember, Wuthering Exploration: Fogveil Pagoda, and Gifts of Drifting Mist.
On the systems side, players should see refined Echo equipment recommendations, better equipment previews, improved build suggestions, and new sharing options for 5-Star Convene pulls, Gallery content, and challenge clears. Expedition Motorbike backgrounds can also be unlocked.
PC players are getting NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Frame Generation support with this update. Kuro Games also says Version 3.6 includes performance-related development improvements across all supported platforms. Mail is getting some cleanup help too, with mailbox capacity raised to 200 messages, higher attachment limits, and a Mail Collection feature meant to keep important messages from being deleted during bulk cleanup.
