Wuthering Waves Version 3.1 adds a snowy Roya Frostlands region on February 4
Kuro Games has outlined what’s coming in Wuthering Waves Version 3.1, “For You Who Walk in Snow,” launching as a free update on February 4 at 10:00 PM EST. The patch brings new main story chapters, two new playable Resonators, and a new winter region to explore.
According to the official site, Version 3.1 continues the main story with Chapter III: Act III, “The Star That Voyages Far,” plus an additional follow-up chapter called “Segue: Afterstory, All That Sunlight Touches.”
On the character side, the roster is getting two new Resonators: Aemeath and Luuk Herssen. Kuro also says players who finish the new main story chapter will unlock a free Rover outfit, “Perpetual Spark.”
Exploration is getting a boost with a new snowy area called the Roya Frostlands (Frostlands Surface). Beyond content, 3.1 also leans into quality-of-life changes aimed at cutting down on busywork, especially around progression and farming.
Echo upgrading is being streamlined with new batch tools, and Kuro says it’ll be easier to target specific Echo sets. Material farming is also being adjusted with direct map tracking to enemies that drop the upgrade items you’re looking for.
The Expedition Motorbike is picking up several tweaks as well, including a Glacier Track ability for crossing open water, improved autopilot navigation, fast travel to nearby beacons, and better mobile controls. Kuro also notes general performance optimizations across platforms, with an eye toward smoother play on lower-spec devices.
