Wuthering Waves 3.6 Adds New Story Chapters, Resonators, Echoes, and DLSS 4.5 Support

Kuro Games has shared the first details for Wuthering Waves 3.6, titled “Lamplight in Mirage, Sword’s Resolve in Heart.” The update will continue the main story with Chapter IV Act III and Chapter IV Segue, while adding two new Resonators, Qingxiao and Jingran.

Both new characters will appear through featured Resonator Convenes, with new accessories arriving alongside them. Version 3.6 will also bring new weapons, including Glint of Clouds and Thousandfold Deliverance, plus more combat content for players looking for fresh fights.

The update adds the Calamity Effigy Echo, Phantom Echo: Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis, and a new Tactical Hologram challenge. Kuro is also lining up several events, including Resonance Sim Realm and the co-op combat event If Dreams Still Reverberate.

On the quality-of-life side, 3.6 is set to improve Echo management, equipment previews, and build suggestions. PC players will also get Nvidia DLSS 4.5 frame generation support, which Kuro says should help with frame rates and reduce visual artifacts and ghosting. The studio says there are performance improvements planned across all platforms as well.

The mailbox is getting a practical upgrade too, with capacity raised to 200 messages, higher attachment limits, and a mail collection feature meant to help players avoid accidentally deleting mail in bulk.

Kuro hasn’t announced a release date for Wuthering Waves 3.6 yet. The studio says more details on optimizations, additional content, and launch timing will be shared in the coming weeks. More information is available on the official site.
