WoW’s Children’s Week is back through May 4 with a few new rewards and Silvermoon support
World of Warcraft’s annual Children’s Week event is live now in both modern WoW and WoW Classic, and it runs through May 4. The event sends players to orphan caretakers in major cities, where they can pick up an orphan companion and work through a themed questline for event rewards.
According to Blizzard’s official post, this year’s update adds support for the newly revamped Silvermoon City, along with a new nap mat toy and a new vendor. Players can also earn the usual Children’s Week rewards, including pets and transmog items.
If you’ve never done it before, Children’s Week is one of WoW’s longer-running holiday events, built around escorting an orphan around Azeroth and checking off a list of activities. Some of its older achievements have a reputation for pushing players into modes they might not normally touch, but the basic loop is still straightforward: pick up an orphan, finish the quests, grab the rewards.
So if you’re after event collectibles, or just trying to clear another holiday off the calendar, it’s available now on both versions of the game.
