ARC Raiders adds the Riven Tides beach map and reworks Trials in Season 4
ARC Raiders has rolled out its Riven Tides update, adding a new coastal map built around scavenging a wrecked beachside area with a deserted resort and a half-collapsed dockyard. According to the patch notes, the map also includes a beachcombing condition that lets players use the Dockmaster’s Detector to dig up loot hidden along the shore.
The update also sets up Trials Season 4, and that looks like the bigger gameplay change for regular players. Specific map-condition trials have been removed, major map conditions no longer give double points, and the season adds new objectives. Embark says Season 4 starts on Wednesday, April 29.
Beyond that, Riven Tides adds a new flying enemy called the ARC turbine, launches another expedition, starts a new Last Resort event, and brings in more items, augments, and the usual balance pass. There’s also a separate developer guide that breaks down the Trials changes in more detail.
ARC Raiders is Embark Studios’ extraction shooter, so a new map and a cleanup pass on seasonal objectives are the parts most likely to matter day to day. The map gives players a fresh scavenging route, while the Trials changes seem aimed at making seasonal progress less tied to narrow conditions.
