WoW Patch 12.0.7 PTR boosts housing decor limits and brings back outdoor lighting

World of Warcraft players testing Patch 12.0.7, also called Revelations, are finding a pretty substantial housing update on the PTR. The biggest change so far is a 40% increase to the outdoor decoration budget, which should make it easier to build larger yards and more elaborate setups without hitting the cap so quickly.

The patch also restores outdoor lighting options, something housing fans had been waiting to see return. On top of that, neighborhood vendors now appear to be getting a much larger selection of decor items, giving players more pieces to work with when customizing their homes and surrounding space.

That all adds up to a fairly meaningful pass on housing, especially for players who felt constrained by the earlier limits. More budget and more items is the kind of change that directly affects what people can actually build, not just how the feature is presented.

Patch 12.0.7 is still in testing, so details could still shift before release. But at least from what testers are seeing now, housing looks like one of the main winners of the Revelations update.
