Palia’s Royal Highlands expansion arrives Tuesday with its biggest zone yet

Palia is getting its next major beta expansion on Tuesday. The update, called Royal Highlands, adds what developer Singularity 6 says is the game’s biggest zone so far, to the point that the team had to rework parts of the UI to properly fit the map.

The studio is also promoting the release with a new trailer ahead of launch. Based on the announcement, Royal Highlands is the headline addition and the main reason for the update, with the new area set to expand the cozy life sim MMO’s world in a big way.

Palia has been in beta while Singularity 6 continues to roll out larger content drops. For players, the immediate takeaway is simple: a new expansion-sized update is about to go live, and it centers on a much larger explorable region than what’s currently in the game.
