WoW Midnight 12.1.5 arrives October 13 with Kith’ix raid and Labyrinth of Kindo’jan
World of Warcraft: Midnight’s 12.1.5 content update is set for October 13 in North America and October 14 in Europe, landing with weekly maintenance. The patch adds a new story chapter, a single-boss raid against Kith’ix, the Labyrinth of Kindo’jan, Aqir Invasions, and a mid-season power refresh for Season 2.
The main campaign, “The Promise of Tomorrow,” continues the Quel’Thalas and Zul’Aman storyline after Ula’tek’s defeat. It leads into The Unbinding of Kith’ix, a focused raid encounter available in Story Mode, Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic. Mythic will support flexible groups of 15 to 25 players.
- The Labyrinth of Kindo’jan is a nine-chamber, Delve-like challenge set in an old Amani funeral complex. Players enter with Valeera Sanguinar as their companion and can clear it in one long run or tackle it wing by wing. Rewards scale with progress and include Mythic gear.
- Aqir Invasions are new zone-wide public events in Eversong or Zul’Aman. They run for 10 minutes each hour, moving players through several objectives before a boss fight. Scenarios include combat and non-combat variants, with combat affixes changing how the Aqir behave.
- The Season 2 refresh starts before the patch, during the week of October 6. Players can begin quest prep in Voidstorm and Silvermoon City to unlock one extra Nebulous Voidcore per week from Orin Straylight.
- Starting the week of October 20, Ascendant Venomstones become available through Heroic and Mythic raid bosses, Mythic+ dungeons at +10 and above, Tier 11 Bountiful Delves, and Nightmare Prey Hunt Champion gear chests. Ten Venomstones can upgrade a fully upgraded Season 2 Hero, Myth, or max-quality Tidal Crafted weapon, trinket, or necklace near the Catalyst in Silvermoon City.
- The crest cap will also be lifted during the week of October 20.
- Legion and Battle for Azeroth reputations are becoming warband-wide.
There are plenty of smaller changes too, including class tuning, new and adjusted achievements, housing edit improvements, Prey catch-up changes, and UI options such as minimap coordinates and raid-frame dispel indicators. For most players, though, the big hooks are clear: a new raid boss, a larger Delve-style activity, hourly public events, and another round of item progression as Season 2 rolls on.
