WoW Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary Edition gets Overlords of Outland on May 14
Blizzard has set May 14 for Overlords of Outland, the next update for World of Warcraft’s Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary Edition. According to the official post, the patch adds two of Burning Crusade’s big raids: Tempest Keep: The Eye and Serpentshrine Cavern.
Those raids put players up against Kael’thas Sunstrider and Lady Vashj, and bosses there will drop Tier 5 tokens. It’s the headline addition, but not the only one coming with the patch.
Overlords of Outland also adds the Druid questline for swift flight form, along with the Idol of the Raven Goddess. Blizzard says players will also see two new factions with daily rewards, plus more profession recipes.
On the PvP side, Arena Season 2 will begin after a two-week offseason once Season 1 ends. If you’re wrapping up current arena goals, that’s the main date to keep in mind alongside the patch launch.
Blizzard also recently put out a behind-the-scenes video about updating Quel’Thalas and Silvermoon City, though the post didn’t include any extra details beyond pointing players to the video.
