Guild Wars adds Forsaken Tunnels to Post-Searing Reforged mode

Guild Wars just got another chunk of new content, this time for players in Post-Searing Ascalon using Reforged mode. According to the official post, the Forsaken Tunnels dungeon is now available beyond Pre-Searing, following its earlier debut at the start of April.

Forsaken Tunnels is a six-player dungeon accessed from Yak’s Bend, though the game wiki notes it can be entered with up to eight players if the group starts from Temple of the Ages. To unlock it, players need to have Reforged mode turned on, complete Althea’s Ashes, travel to Piken Square, and speak with the Ghost of Althea to begin the quest chain. ArenaNet says characters from any campaign can play the content once they can reach Piken Square.

Finishing the dungeon also unlocks Ghost of Althea as a hero, which is the standout reward in this update. That’s the main draw here if you’re jumping back in after the recent Reforged news.

The update lands during Guild Wars’ 21st anniversary event, which runs through May 6. The same patch also includes a long list of anniversary-related skill balance changes, though the dungeon addition is easily the biggest player-facing addition.
