World of Warcraft’s Turbulent Timeways Event Is Back With a New Mount
World of Warcraft has kicked off another Turbulent Timeways event, sending players back through timewalking dungeons for six weeks of boosted rewards. The event is live now and runs until Tuesday, August 11, according to Blizzard’s official post.
This run starts and ends with Dragonflight timewalking, with other expansion eras rotating through the event along the way. While timewalking is active, players get 50% more reputation from quests and creature kills, and timewalking dungeon bosses drop gear scaled around heroic dungeon rewards.
The main chase item this time is the Spawn of Vyranoth flying mount. To earn it, players need to keep the Mastery of the Timeways buff active during any four weeks of the event. As usual, timeworn badges can also be spent on a mix of new and returning rewards, including mounts, transmog pieces, and dragonriding cosmetics.
There’s also a weekly quest tied to the event, which awards a gear cache with items in the 259 to 276 item level range. So if you’re leveling alts, catching up on reputation, or just want another mount for the collection, this is one of the better weeks to queue up.
