World of Warcraft: Forever Beta Opens September 17 After Blizzard Q&A Streams

Blizzard is opening the World of Warcraft: Forever beta on Thursday, September 17, following a pair of live Q&A streams focused on what’s next for WoW. The modern World of Warcraft Q&A starts at 10:00 a.m. PDT, with the Forever session following at 10:30 a.m. PDT on the official Warcraft Twitch and YouTube channels.

The beta runs from September 17 through October 21, 2026. Access is included with the Skyborne Epic Pack and the limited-time Warcraft Forever Collection on the Battle.net Shop, both of which also include Early Name Reservation and related launch rewards. The Skyborne Heroic Pack includes the new Skyborne race and starting experience, but not beta access.

World of Warcraft: Forever is Blizzard’s permanent classic-era branch of WoW, positioned alongside modern WoW and Classic. It sends players back to the original continents with progression up to level 60, with Blizzard planning ongoing updates after launch.

The full global launch is set for November 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PDT. Blizzard says Forever won’t require a separate purchase at launch beyond an active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time.

The Q&A streams are expected to cover Blizzard’s BlizzCon 2026 reveals and what’s ahead for both modern WoW and WoW Forever. Players who miss the live broadcast will be able to watch the VOD afterward.
