Monsters & Memories Opens Name Reservations Ahead of October Early Access
Monsters & Memories is moving into Early Access on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Bahrain time. That works out to 2:00 a.m. Eastern, or 11:00 p.m. Pacific on September 30 for players in the U.S.
Niche Worlds Cult says Early Access will mark the start of persistent character progress, with no wipes planned from that point forward. The game still won’t be at 1.0, so the studio is framing this as continued development on live servers rather than a finished launch.
Name reservations are live now. The first 4,000 players who pick a home server can reserve a character name during account confirmation. The studio is also using that process to get a better read on how many players are aiming for each server before launch.
Billing is scheduled to go live Monday, September 21, 2026, targeting 9:00 a.m. Eastern. Players will be able to pre-pay for October, and subscribed accounts can create up to five characters per server during that window. Those players won’t be billed again until November 1. The merch store is also planned to open the same day.
Closed Beta ends Thursday, September 24, as the team prepares the servers for Early Access. When EA begins, the character limit increases to 25 per server, including any characters made during the billing test period.
The studio says Monsters & Memories has recently seen about 8,000 to 12,000 unique players per month across its live alpha and beta servers. It’s also warning players to expect the usual early MMO launch issues during the first few days, especially as server populations settle.
