Where Winds Meet’s Hexi update lands March 6 with a new region rollout

Where Winds Meet is getting its big Hexi update on Friday, March 6. Everstone Studio is pitching it as a major content drop, with a new region to explore and a three-part story rollout planned over the next few months.

In a recent developer preview livestream, the studio said the Hexi storyline will be delivered as three “area chapters” across three months. The first chapter focuses on Jade Gate Pass, with Liangzhou and Qinchuan set to follow. Each chapter is meant to center on different legends, alongside new enemies and mechanics tied to the added regions.

On day one, Hexi also brings a new martial art called Bamboocut Dust, plus new bosses, extra side stories, and new events set in the deserts around Jade Gate Pass.

Everstone also shared a March schedule for what’s coming alongside the update. You can see that in the calendar of events for March posted on the game’s social account.
