Warframe’s Jade Shadows: Constellations Update Launches June 17
Warframe’s next narrative update, Jade Shadows: Constellations, launches June 17 on all platforms. Digital Extremes shared the date and more details during its latest Devstream, confirming the free update as the game’s first sequel quest.
The story centers on Sirius and Orion, a linked pair with clashing timelines and a relationship that sounds messy in the usual Warframe way. According to the official page, choices from the original Jade Shadows quest will affect scenes in this follow-up.
Sirius and Orion share a passive, but play differently. Sirius uses a thrown scythe, unstable star-like explosives, and a zone that can help allies with healing and damage reduction. Orion leans more aggressive, with heavy slashes, defense reduction, and a black hole ability that pulls enemies together.
Finishing the new story quest will unlock Railjack missions in Uranus Proxima, along with a path to earn five new Incarnon weapons. The update also adds Protoframes Vena, based on Garuda, and Ryoku, based on Ash, plus new weapons and cosmetics tied to the update’s split-future theme.
Styanax Prime is also on the way as the next Prime Warframe, with the expected Prime stat boosts, gold trim, and updated gear. Digital Extremes also dated the Mesa Heirloom cosmetic collection for July 11.
There are a couple of event notes too. Players who watch at least 30 straight minutes of the Summer Game Fest stream on Thursday between 4:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. EDT can claim a free Dante Warframe through Twitch Drops. TennoCon follows soon after, running July 10-11, with the in-person event sold out but streams planned for viewers at home.
