The Elder Scrolls Online Season One Is Live With Thieves Guild Content and a Fall Roadmap
Season One: Return of the Thieves Guild is now live in The Elder Scrolls Online across platforms, adding a new Thieves Guild storyline, Dynamic Encounters, the Favors system, Tamriel Tome rewards, and the Gold Coast Bazaar.
ZeniMax Online has also posted the Season One schedule, laying out what’s coming over the next few months. The next major story beat is a Sheogorath storyline arriving July 29, alongside a Golden Pursuits campaign built around a “cheese tour” with some danger attached. Two more Golden Pursuits campaigns are planned for August 20 and September 30.
Update 51 is currently dated for September 21. That update is set to bring the Nowhere Vault, the Crimson Veldt 12-player trial, the Rumors System, and player experience improvements.
Later in the season, the High Seas of Tamriel event will run from September 30 through October 14. Other events are also on the schedule, including Deathmatch Battleground, Crazy King Battleground, and the return of Whitestrake’s Mayhem in its new format.
There’s one bit of uncertainty hanging over the longer-term calendar. After this week’s Xbox layoffs, the ESO team said some previously announced roadmaps would be shifting. Season One was already ready to go and now has a published schedule, but it’s worth watching for any follow-up from ZeniMax Online if those broader changes affect dates or plans later on.
