EverQuest Legends details unlock tokens, storage bonuses, and Iridium shop prices
EverQuest Legends is getting closer to its July 28 launch, and the latest Producer’s Letter lays out a few practical details players have been waiting on: unlock achievements, extra storage, loadout slots, and the game’s paid currency.
Players in the current pre-order beta can already try the race and class unlock systems. Deity achievements and deity unlocks are planned for an update shortly after launch.
The big account milestone is hitting level 50 for the first time on any class. Doing that grants a Class Unlock Token, a general achievement, and a one-time storage bonus:
- 50 Tradeskill slots
- 25 Dragon’s Hoard slots
- 5 Activated Item slots
- 25 Equipment slots
- 25 Exaltation slots
That won’t be the only path to more storage. The team says additional storage options are also coming after launch. Loadout Slots will be expandable later too, though players will start with three Loadout Slots and 50 Equipment slots after feedback from the beta community.
The letter also breaks down Iridium, or IR, the optional paid currency used in the in-game shop. The base rates are $4.99 for 500 IR and $9.98 for 1,000 IR. Larger bundles include bonus currency, such as 2,750 IR for $24.99 with a 10% bonus. The highest listed bundle costs $99.99 and includes a 20% bonus.
Some shop examples were also given. A Deity Unlock Token, Alternate Storage Increase, and an extra Loadout Slot each cost 500 IR. Other planned shop items include weight reduction bags, a name change potion, and cosmetics at different prices.
