Siege of Orgrimmar Is Now Live in World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic
Siege of Orgrimmar is now live in World of Warcraft Classic: Mists of Pandaria Classic, giving level 90 players the expansion’s major Garrosh Hellscream raid in both Normal and Heroic difficulties. The raid has 14 bosses and starts in the damaged Vale of Eternal Blossoms before moving into Orgrimmar itself.
According to the Blizzard post mirrored on Blue Tracker, the raid is split across the Vale of Eternal Sorrows, Gates of Retribution, and Downfall sections, with encounters including Sha of Pride, Galakras, General Nazgrim, Thok the Bloodthirsty, Siegecrafter Blackfuse, Paragons of the Klaxxi, and Garrosh Hellscream.
The update also brings Tier 16 raid gear. Set tokens drop from specific bosses, including Sha of Pride for chest pieces, General Nazgrim for gloves, Thok for helms, Siegecrafter Blackfuse for shoulders, and Paragons of the Klaxxi for legs. Garrosh can also drop Essences that can be exchanged for Tier 16 pieces.
Normal Siege of Orgrimmar loot is item level 553, with Warforged pieces at 559. Heroic loot is item level 566, with Warforged pieces at 572.
There’s also a mount chase attached to the raid. Players who complete all 14 Siege of Orgrimmar challenge achievements will earn the “Glory of the Orgrimmar Raider” meta-achievement, which rewards the Spawn of Galakras flying mount.
Siege of Orgrimmar was one of Mists of Pandaria’s defining raids in the original release, and its arrival marks the point where Classic players can finally take the fight directly to Garrosh’s version of the Horde.
