Realm of the Mad God Season 27 adds the Druid class and new dungeon event rotation
Realm of the Mad God Season 27 is live with a brand-new playable class: the Druid. According to the official post, the Druid’s whole deal is using sigil spells to shapeshift into different animal forms, trading some weapon range for boosted attacks, stat bonuses, and other effects.
Yes, one of those forms is a chicken. To transform, you’ll need to build up a meter by casting spells or using your weapons, then spend it to shift.
The Druid is also front and center in this season’s battle pass, which includes new skins tied to the class. There’s also a new contest focused on leveling a Druid to max under PPE rules, meaning you can’t trade for gear and have to rely on drops only. Details are in the contest post.
Outside of the new class, Season 27 tweaks mission progression with multiple structured paths for different character types, each with its own rewards. There’s even a Druid-specific path, because of course there is.
The patch also refreshes the dungeon event rotation and adds an Eternal Phoenix miniboss that can show up in event dungeons. It drops a new ruby item, plus mystery items that can roll into a selection of drops. If you want the full breakdown of what’s in and where it appears, the Season 27 patch notes go into the specifics.
