Path of Exile’s next league update lands March 6, reveal stream set for Feb. 26

Grinding Gear Games has locked in the dates for the next major Path of Exile update. The patch (and, as usual, likely the next league) is set to go live on March 6.

Before that, GGG will do its full reveal livestream on February 26 at 11:00 a.m. PST. According to the announcement post, the studio will also roll out smaller teasers ahead of the stream, in line with its normal pre-league routine.

If you’re trying to time your last-minute goals, the current league, Keepers of the Flame, is scheduled to end on March 2. That gives players a short gap before the March 6 launch.

There’s also a limited-time event running right now. The Legacy of Phrecia event has returned, and its 2.0 version is active until February 19. It features a set of new Ascendancies that temporarily replace the standard ones, with some of those event Ascendancies tweaked compared to previous runs.

GGG hasn’t shared the name or theme of the March league yet, so for now it’s just dates. Expect the February 26 stream to fill in the details on the new mechanics and any bigger balance or endgame changes coming with the patch.

Even after Path of Exile 2’s launch, the original Path of Exile remains incredibly popular. The game routinely hits over 175,000 concurrent players on Steam with the launch of new leagues.
