Path of Exile’s Mirage expansion gets 11 hotfixes, more Atlas fixes on the way
Grinding Gear Games has pushed 11 hotfixes since Friday’s launch of Path of Exile’s Mirage expansion, and the studio says more improvements are in progress. Most of the early patches targeted the usual launch-week problems: crashes, instability, and some server issues affecting parts of the playerbase.
GGG also called out disconnect problems in Europe and said it’s working on relief there, following player reports of EU-specific issues.
Now that the worst fires are mostly handled, the team is outlining what it wants to clean up next. In an official post, GGG lists several quality-of-life and progression fixes it’s actively working toward, largely centered on the new Atlas and Mirage content.
- Better visibility for Atlas maps you haven’t completed yet
- Making Mirage caches easier to spot
- Additional player experience improvements tied to the new Atlas system
- Buffs persisting through area transitions, starting with Shrine buffs
- A fix for permanent leagues where some players can’t progress their Atlas state
- UI elements that should be selectable (including in Delve) becoming selectable again
There’s no firm timetable attached to these changes, but given the pace so far, it sounds like more hotfixes are likely to keep rolling out as the team works through the list.
