Path of Exile 2 Shares Two-Week Stats for Return of the Ancients

Grinding Gear Games has shared a stats snapshot for the first two weeks of Path of Exile 2’s Return of the Ancients update, giving players a look at what the early access crowd has been doing since the update went live.

According to the official post, the most-played Ascendencies during that window were Martial Artist, Spirit Walker, and Deadeye. Players also racked up 6,187,370 unique map clears and 2,009,730 expedition map clears.

The most-used skills across all realms were Whirling Slash, Twister, Empowered Barrage, Frost Bomb, and Ice-Tipped Arrows. On the progression side, players cleansed 1,290,936 corrupted nexuses, opened 219,088,375 waystones, used 262,915,249 tablets, and picked up more than 8 trillion gold.

There was plenty of dying, too. Standard league exiles were killed 170,236,613 times. The Arbiter of Divinity was defeated 1,249,367 times, but also killed players 2,789,506 times. The deadliest boss in the snapshot was Arbiter of Ash, with 3,516,457 player kills. Count Geonor, The Bodach, and Vessel of Kulemak also made the top five, with Vessel of Kulemak landing at 909,001 kills.

Return of the Ancients is the final planned content update for Path of Exile 2’s early access period. Grinding Gear is also preparing to talk more about the next update for the original Path of Exile in early July.
