Old School RuneScape Roadmap Adds Myreque Finale, New Island, and First Raid in Four Years

Jagex has laid out what’s next for Old School RuneScape during its 2026 Summer Campfire, with a roadmap covering a Grandmaster quest finale, a player-designed island, PvP onboarding, mobile updates, and a new endgame raid.

The first big date is June 30, when The Blood Moon Rises arrives to close out the long-running Myreque questline. The quest brings players into Vampyrium, adds a new skilling area, and introduces a repeatable solo boss called the Maggot King.

Later this summer, OSRS is getting Wyrmscraig, the winning island from the Sailing Player-Designed Island poll. It’ll sit in the south-west sea of Gielinor and adds two skilling activities, Goat Hunting and Golem Crafting, along with a new quest, a new Slayer Master, and a repeatable boss named The Mad Angel.

Jagex also plans a Summer Sweep Up update focused on player experience changes. That includes Hunter training progression, gear balance buffs, new agility courses, and a PvP tutorial built around challenges that lead into a final test. Handy for players who’ve avoided PvP, or anyone who just wants a less painful way to learn it.

In the fall, the Fremennik quest series continues with The Graveyard, which includes an agility update that lets players pick their preferred intensity. The bigger fall addition is The Fractured Archive, OSRS’s first new raid in four years. Jagex says it will feature eight bosses, a boss rush system, and new best-in-slot rewards.

Other roadmap notes include official support for the community bingo format, more mobile client updates, and expanded server numbers in Singapore, South Africa, and Japan. Jagex has the full breakdown in its official recap.
