MU Online Adds Crusader Class and Raises Speed Server Cap to 900

WEBZEN has rolled out MU Online’s Season 21-1 Part 1 update, adding the new Crusader class and making a round of changes to the PC MMORPG’s Speed Server. The update is live now, with the Speed Server level cap raised from 800 to 900.

Crusader is a hybrid class built around a hammer and shield. It uses light-based attacks while also bringing party support tools, so it’s meant to sit somewhere between damage dealer and team utility rather than being a straight DPS pick.

The Speed Server has been reworked under a “Reborn” setup. Along with the higher cap, the Deep Dungeon hunting area is now available there, and level-up rewards have been adjusted around the new progression ceiling. Players who hit level 900 and transfer to a main server can earn upgraded rewards, including improved equipment and progression items.

WEBZEN is also giving each account one free Speed Server Transfer item. Characters can move to existing servers or the new Idavoll server. Players who reach level 780 before transferring can also use the Speed Server Plus system, which provides extra rewards for up to 20 weeks after the move.

The update is running alongside limited events, including a First Purchase Event and a Playtime Event tied to item purchases and weekend playtime milestones. More details are available on the Season 21-1 Part 1 microsite.
