Last Epoch Season 5 Arrives October 1 With Rage of the Frostborn

Last Epoch Season 5, Rage of the Frostborn, launches October 1, 2026 at 11 AM CDT, and Eleventh Hour Games is kicking it off with a First Blood community race to Pinnacle Morditas.

The season’s official hub and trailer are now live, outlining the major additions coming with the update. That includes a new pinnacle boss, the Rage of Morditas seasonal mechanic, new class skills, an overhaul for prophecies, an activities UI, and more unique and set items.

Before launch, the studio is running a “Hype Week” from September 21 through September 25, with daily reveals focused on different parts of the update. That week wraps with full patch notes, a patch notes overview video, and a developer stream, according to the forum schedule post.

There are a few other dates on the calendar too. The Season 5 Supporter Pack reveal is set for September 27, followed by developer tours with Raxxanterax on September 28 and AaronActionRPG on September 30. Twitch Drops details are planned for September 29.

Eleventh Hour also confirmed a leadership change for Last Epoch. Mike Weicker is now Game Director, taking over from Judd Cobler, who remains CEO and will continue working on the game’s overall direction. Weicker is one of the game’s founding team members and has been a familiar face in the community through the long-running Friday Dev Q&A streams.
