Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 adds Pearl, Astral Imagea pets, and a new Astropolis mission

Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6, “Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise,” goes live after maintenance begins on September 28, 2026 at 06:00 UTC+8. HoYoverse says downtime should last about five hours, with the version running until November 11 at 06:00 UTC+8.

Players at Trailblaze Level 4 or higher before maintenance will receive 300 Stellar Jade for server maintenance and another 300 Stellar Jade as bug compensation. The update is available on PC, Android, iOS, and PS5.

  • A new Trailblaze Mission, “Astropolis — Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise,” becomes permanently available for Trailblaze Level 21 and up. It can also be accessed early during 4.6 through Finality’s Vision.
  • Pearl joins as a new 5-star Ice character on the Elation path. She’s built around blocking damage for allies with Certified Banger, advancing a teammate’s action with her Ultimate, and providing healing plus debuff removal.
  • The new 5-star Light Cone “Colors for Tomorrow” arrives through the Brilliant Fixation event warp.
  • Astral Imagea is the update’s new pet type. Players can summon up to three in a squad, place them in Astral Imagea Park or the Pet House, and trade them with friends through the Trade Plaza.
  • The Life Sciences Institute opens as a new area, with Astral Imagea Park tied to it.

Version 4.6 also adds several limited-time events. “Love, Ghosts & Robots” runs from the update through November 11 at 03:59 UTC+8 and includes the Lone Wolf Shades headwear. “Interastral Peace Gala: One Take” starts October 21 at 12:00 server time. “Wishpower UP! Down with Voracity!” offers rewards including 18 Trendible Vouchers, 500 Stellar Jade, and a commemorative medal.

Two new outfits are also going on sale. Hyacine’s “Warm Cotton Skies” costs 1,350 Oneiric Shards during the discount period, then rises to 1,680. Evanescia’s “Lunar Blossoming” costs 2,680 Stellar Jades at launch, then moves to 3,280. Both discounts last until November 11 at 03:59 UTC+8.

On the systems side, Currency Wars gets a Double Ascension Points mode, Herta’s Store adds the 4-star Light Cone “Tomorrow, Together,” and team presets can now be marked as frequently used. The patch also includes new relics, refreshed endgame rotations, controller tweaks, auto-battle adjustments, voice updates, and a long list of bug fixes.
