Final Fantasy XIV’s next Moogle Treasure Trove starts March 31

Final Fantasy XIV is bringing back its usual pre-patch grind event on March 31 with a new Moogle Treasure Trove, this time called Hunt for Aphorism. As usual, players can run selected duties to earn Irregular Tomestones of Aphorism, then trade those in for older rewards and a few event highlights before the next patch arrives.

According to the official event page, some of the more notable rewards this round include the new Miner Earring, the Emerald Gwiber mount, and the Ixion horn. The event runs from March 31 until the release of the game’s next patch, though Square Enix hasn’t listed that patch date here.

If you’ve played one of these before, the setup is the same. Clear the featured duties, collect tomestones, visit the itinerant moogle vendor, and cash them in for cosmetics, mounts, and older dungeon-related items. It’s mostly a catch-up event, but it also gives regular players something to chip away at while waiting for the next update.
