Guild Wars 2 brings back New Hero Jump Start as spring sale goes live

Guild Wars 2 has kicked off another round of its New Hero Jump Start event, giving players a short-term boost ahead of Super Adventure Box’s return in mid-April. According to the official post, the event is live now and runs through Tuesday, April 7.

During the bonus event, players get 50% more XP, plus a 30% increase to magic find, World vs. World reward track progress, and PvP reward track progress. It’s a straightforward catch-up event, especially if you’ve been leveling alts or working through reward tracks.

ArenaNet has also started a spring sale for Guild Wars 2 expansions and packs. The source post doesn’t list every discount in detail, but it confirms that multiple expansions and Reforged-related purchases are included. More specifics are in the sale announcement.

This all lands just before Super Adventure Box comes back sometime in mid-April. ArenaNet hasn’t shared the full event schedule in this source, only that the annual retro platformer event is on the way again soon.
