Final Fantasy XIV Delays Crucible Rankings Season 1 Over Beastmaster Issues
Square Enix has postponed the start of Season 1 for Crucible Rankings in Final Fantasy XIV, citing balance concerns and gameplay issues tied to the newly released beastmaster limited job.
The team said player feedback around beastmaster’s combat balance, along with reports of problems in certain mechanics, made it difficult to start rankings fairly. If the season began now, Square Enix says it would be unclear whether results reflected the job’s intended design or unresolved issues.
There’s no new start date yet. The developers say fixes and feedback are being treated as a priority, and another announcement will be made once Season 1 has been rescheduled.
Until then, Crucible Ranking scores will remain unavailable in-game.
