EVE Online’s Fractured Skies Expansion Lands November 10 With New Navy Battlecruisers

EVE Online’s next expansion, Fractured Skies, launches on November 10, 2026, bringing new Factional Warfare content, four navy attack battlecruisers, military campaigns, and the start of EVE Vanguard’s 24/7 paid alpha. It’s the second expansion in the Theaters of War trilogy.

The expansion is built around the four empires preparing for a wider conflict. The biggest Factional Warfare shake-up, Conquests, won’t arrive at launch. That system is planned for February, giving players time to build toward it through campaigns and faction activity.

  • Four new navy attack battlecruisers are coming: Naga Navy Issue, Tornado Fleet Issue, Oracle Navy Issue, and Talos Navy Issue.
  • The ships will be available only through Factional Warfare LP stores.
  • New synchronizer rigs reward fitting multiple matching faction modules, with sets for the four empires and five pirate factions.
  • Flash Military Campaigns begin at launch, covering exploration, PvE, PvP, and industry objectives.
  • Campaign bonuses are set to activate in designated faction systems on January 5.
  • A new optional HUD enters Feature Preview in November, with clearer shield, armor, hull, capacitor, heat, speed, and module feedback.

Fractured Skies also sets up a larger lowsec event in January, where the empires will fight over Drifter technology. The winning empire gets temporary access to an exclusive Drifter module through its LP store.

EVE Vanguard is getting pulled more directly into the wider war. Starting November 10, the shooter will be playable 24/7 through paid Alpha access via Founder’s Access in the EVE launcher. Pricing has not been detailed yet. Vanguard players will complete contracts and expeditions that can unlock combat, hacking, and mining sites in EVE Online’s highsec and lowsec space.

The Vanguard update adds three maps: High Castle, a highsec PvE-focused fortress without PvP damage; Vorago, a lowsec extraction battleground with hostile forces and rival warclones; and The Vault, a nullsec 3v3v3 PvP map with changing layouts and rare Weapon Cores. Weapon progression is also being expanded, with the Gallente BR-60 joining the arsenal.

For newer EVE pilots, Fractured Skies adds 13 free pre-fitted AIR Academy ships for combat, exploration, and mining inside Starter Space. The AIR Career Program is also moving into the Achievements system, and existing progress will be reset so players can earn those rewards again.

Conquests, arriving later in the expansion cycle, will be seasonal Factional Warfare conflicts with objectives, Directives, Conquest Power, and a final Siege involving massive Conquest Engines. The winning side will leave a permanent mark in New Eden through monuments tied to the result.
