World of Warcraft: Forever Shows Post-30 Leveling in Riverglades and Mount Hyjal
Blizzard has shared a new World of Warcraft: Forever preview focused on what happens after level 30, the point where the current beta’s available leveling content stops. The October 19 video, titled “Your Leveling Journey Past 30,” gives a look at two higher-level zones coming later: the Riverglades and Mount Hyjal.
The Riverglades leans into lingering Second War fallout. Alliance players will be able to work with the Brotherhood of the Horse, a group of knights who ignored orders to head south and instead held their strongholds in the region. Horde players, meanwhile, can seek out the Boulderrock Ogres, former Twilight’s Hammer members who have shaken off the group’s madness.
Mount Hyjal is also opening up in WoW: Forever. Blizzard says players will help the Cenarion Circle rebuild the area, though the zone won’t be all peaceful restoration work. The preview also points to sinister activity in the region and confirms Barrow Deeps, a 10-player raid set in Hyjal.
This is content beyond the current beta, so players won’t be heading there just yet. For now, Blizzard is still making beta changes, including improvements to capital cities and new weather effects such as lightning storms and snowfall.
