EVE Online’s Crimson Harvest Returns October 6 With the New Akoman Battlecruiser
EVE Online’s Crimson Harvest event is back on October 6 and runs through November 3, bringing the Blood Raiders, the Order of St. Tetrimon, and the Triglavians into another seasonal fight across New Eden. The headline reward this year is a blueprint copy for the Akoman, a new Blood Raider attack battlecruiser that will initially be tied to the event reward track.
Players will again choose between supporting the Blood Raiders or the Order of St. Tetrimon, earning progress and faction-themed rewards based on that allegiance. The event includes combat and hacking sites, daily login rewards, SKINs, boosters, cerebral accelerators, SKINR components, and loot from NPC encounters.
This year’s setup pulls Pochven more directly into the event. Blood Raider forces are trying to push into Triglavian space, while Tetrimon forces move to contain them. Players can also find Criterion Ciphers in Crimson Harvest sites, which open access to timed solo Criterion of Fitness encounters. These fights can scale through multiple waves, with faster clears leading to higher point payouts and tougher enemies.
Returning Crimson Gauntlet and Tetrimon Base sites can also escalate when Triglavians, Drifters, or Rogue Drones appear through unstable rifts. Hollow Outbreak sites are back too, with three difficulty tiers aimed at everyone from newer frigate pilots to more experienced players in tougher lowsec encounters.
The event also brings back one of Crimson Harvest’s more chaotic PvP rules. Outside highsec, destroyed player ships will drop 90% of their items as loot, while pod kills will have a 50% chance to drop implants. That should make lowsec, nullsec, wormholes, and Pochven a little more profitable, and probably a little messier, for the month.
Daily login rewards include Skill Points, boosters, SKINs, fireworks crates, and other items. Omega players can claim both Alpha and Omega rewards, and upgrading during the event will retroactively unlock eligible Omega login rewards for days where the Alpha reward was already claimed.
The final week of Crimson Harvest is expected to ramp things up further, though the full details haven’t been laid out yet.
