ESO’s Echoes of Skyrim Season Adds Greymoor to the Base Game and New Solo Dungeons

Posted on by

The Elder Scrolls Online Season Two: Echoes of Skyrim is live as of October 21, 2026, and runs through January 27, 2027, on PC/Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation. The big change is that Greymoor and Wolfhunter are now part of the base game, so all players can access that content without buying the older Chapter or DLC.

The season also adds ESO’s first solo dungeon versions for Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices. Both were originally part of Wolfhunter, and their four-player versions are now included in the base game too. The new solo versions come with variable difficulty options and new rewards.

  • Greymoor is now included in ESO’s base game, including Western Skyrim, the story, Antiquities, Blackreach, and the Kyne’s Aegis 12-player Trial.
  • Wolfhunter is now included in the base game, opening up Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices to all players.
  • Markarth joins the base game on November 9, completing the Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline for everyone.
  • A new Season Two Tamriel Tome is live, with free, Premium, and Premium + Bonuses reward tracks.
  • The Gold Coast Bazaar reward shop has been refreshed with returning items, including homes, mounts, and target dummies.

Not everything arrives on day one. Bethesda says Season Two will roll out more content over the next few months, including Skyrim-themed Golden Pursuits in November, a Nowhere Vault-themed Golden Pursuits campaign in January, and returning events such as the Witches Festival, Whitestrake’s Mayhem, and the New Life Festival.

Update 52 is scheduled for January 19, near the end of the season. That update will bring another round of player-experience changes, including higher furnishing limits for select homes, more Companion face and head customization, area-of-effect pulls and taunts, and a new minimap UI option.

A new PvP season also begins with Update 52. ESO’s PvP seasons run for roughly six months, so this one will continue beyond Echoes of Skyrim into the next two content seasons.
