ESO Adds Greymoor and Wolfhunter to the Base Game Ahead of Echoes of Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls Online is rolling two older DLC releases into the base game this month, just before Season Two, Echoes of Skyrim, begins. Starting October 19, all ESO players will get access to Greymoor and Wolfhunter at no extra charge.

That means the Western Skyrim zone, the Antiquities system, Moon Hunter Keep, March of Sacrifices, and the Kyne’s Aegis trial will be available as part of the base game. The timing is tied to Echoes of Skyrim, which launches October 21 and leans into Skyrim-themed content, including Eastern Skyrim and solo dungeon versions of March of Sacrifices and Moon Hunter Keep.

  • Greymoor and Wolfhunter join the base game on October 19.
  • Echoes of Skyrim runs from October 21 through January 27.
  • The season adds Eastern Skyrim, a new Tamriel Tome, and solo dungeon versions of March of Sacrifices and Moon Hunter Keep.
  • The Witches Festival returns October 21 and runs until November 4, with bonus rewards including Trade Bars and Plunder Skulls.
  • The High Seas of Tamriel event is live from September 30 through October 14, with ship combat, underwater exploration, and sunken treasure rewards.

ESO’s October schedule also includes the Set Sail on the High Seas Golden Pursuits campaign, which runs alongside the High Seas event and offers extra rewards such as gold, a pet, and a pirate-themed style.

There’s some community programming around the nautical event too, including Ninja Pulls’ High Seas Shindig from September 30 to October 4 and a developer livestream on October 1 featuring Lead Narrative Designer and Loremaster Michael Zenke and Community Manager Kevin Gbolie.

For players who skipped Western Skyrim or the Wolfhunter dungeons when they were paid DLC, October 19 is the main date to watch. Two days later, Echoes of Skyrim picks up with the new seasonal track and solo dungeon content.
