Elder Scrolls Online Update 51 Arrives September 28 With Nowhere Vault and High Seas Event

The Elder Scrolls Online has a busy end of September lined up. Update 51 is now set for September 28 after a one-week delay, bringing the Nowhere Vault activity, new player experience changes, the Rumors system, and more.

The main addition is Nowhere Vault, an experimental PvE feature built around randomized rooms with puzzles, traps, and rewards. ZeniMax Online Studios has compared it to an escape room-style activity, so expect less straight combat grinding and more problem-solving than usual.

A few days later, the High Seas of Tamriel event starts on September 30 and runs through October 14. The event adds ship-to-ship combat for the first time, along with ocean exploration and sunken treasure hunting. It’ll also have its own Golden Pursuits campaign, called Set Sail on the High Seas, with extra rewards tied to event objectives.

There’s also a separate Golden Pursuits campaign live now through September 17. Straight to the Crate lets players earn up to 20 free crates during the campaign window.

ZeniMax shared the September schedule in an official post, which has the full rundown for players looking to plan around the update and events.
