EverQuest II’s Revelations of Malice Update Adds Fabled Dungeons and a New Raid

EverQuest II’s Game Update 132, Revelations of Malice, is live now, bringing a new batch of Fabled dungeon content, fresh missions, collections, and a new raid dungeon called Zon Zobboz: Revelations of Consequence.

The main draw is the set of new Heroic and Solo Fabled dungeons, which revisit older spaces with updated challenges. The four included dungeons are:

  • The Fabled Ossuary: Resonance of Malice
  • The Fabled Castle Highhold: Thresinet’s Den
  • The Fabled Ssraeshza Temple: Inner Sanctum
  • The Fabled Zavith’loa: The Lost Caverns?

The update also adds daily and weekly Heroic and Solo missions. Weekly missions can reward a Celestial Collection Choice Bag, and there are 20 new collections overall, split across Heroic, Solo, Hot Zone, and Final collections. Players can also earn 20 new Solo boss medals and 20 new Heroic boss medals.

Outside the dungeon slate, the official post notes a reworked character creation flow. Players now pick a server first, letting the following menus show options tied to that server. Trial Heroic character creation has also been removed.

The tutorial system has been adjusted too. Tutorials can now appear automatically when a character encounters certain gameplay features for the first time, though players can dismiss them if they don’t need the help.

There are also itemization fixes, quest changes, zone adjustments, UI scaling options, and appearance item tweaks, including support for using some illusion-style appearance items while mounted. Darkpaw has the longer breakdown in the full patch notes.
