Elder Scrolls Online Tests Nowhere Vault Escape Room Feature on PTS
The Elder Scrolls Online has added Nowhere Vault to the Update 51 public test server on PC and Mac, giving players an early look at a new Season One challenge built around randomized rooms, traps, puzzles, and rewards.
It sounds a bit like an escape room inside ESO. Players enter using Nowhere Keys, then work through a shifting series of rooms and hazards to reach the prize at the end. If you’ve picked up Nowhere Keys on live servers, you’ll want to hang onto them.
Nowhere Vault is part of ZeniMax Online Studios’ more experimental approach for the current seasonal model. The Night Market was another example of that, and this new activity follows the same general idea: smaller systems that can change up how players earn rewards without being a traditional questline or dungeon.
The current PTS build also includes the Rumors system, the High Seas of Tamriel event, and several player experience improvements planned for later in Season One. According to the official post, PC and Mac players can access the test server through the ESO launcher by enabling “Show Public Test Environment” and downloading the PTS build.
Update 51 is currently set to launch on September 28. Until then, Nowhere Vault and the other additions are still in testing, so details may shift before they reach the live game.
