Diablo Immortal’s Warlock class arrives June 17 with Bloodied Jewel 5.0

Diablo Immortal is getting its 10th class on June 17, 2026, when the Warlock joins the game as part of the Bloodied Jewel 5.0 update. The new class is built around demon summons and hellfire magic, giving players another pet-focused option beyond the Necromancer.

The Warlock’s main companion is the Soulgorger, a passive demon summon available from level 1. It stays active without taking up a skill slot, attacks nearby enemies, can slam groups, and can sacrifice some of its own health to heal the player. At level 15, it gains Warp Strike, which lets it teleport to a target area, knock enemies up, and boost its attack speed.

The class also has several temporary summons. Demonic Portal lets players pick from different minions, including a charging Bloodlord, a group of Warriors, or a Rasplet Hulk that can stun and bleed enemies. Demonic Pact summons a Twisted Shaman, while Hellswarm can spawn Plagued Thornstriders from defeated enemies. Burning Ascent doubles as a movement skill, calling in a Hellflyer that carries the Warlock across the screen while breathing fire.

On the spell side, the Warlock gets tools like Hellfire Bolt, Infernal Eruption, Devouring Darkness, Tyrant’s Grasp, and Brimstone Gateway. The class still appears to follow Diablo Immortal’s usual cooldown-driven combat style, rather than the resource builder and spender setups seen in some mainline Diablo games.

Bloodied Jewel 5.0 will also add the Warlock origin quest, Power’s Price, along with a new Fractured Plane, a Speedrun event, preset Warlock Trial Dungeons, and more than 50 new legendary items tied to the class. Players will be able to start a fresh Warlock or use Class Change on an existing character while keeping their current progression.
